Course Content

• You'll become acquainted with the paragliding equipment and learn to launch, handle and land the paraglider
• Directional control of the glider
• Video analysis
• Radio guidance
• Theory lessons in material knowledge and aerodynamics, meteorology, air law und flight practice
• Learning materials (also available in english and dutch)

Meeting Place and Time Schedule

Course Location Ramsau:
The day the course starts we meet at 9 a.m. at the club house in Ramsau.

Course Location Murtal:
The day the course starts we meet at 9 a.m. in the flying site.

The training course takes place all day long. As paragliding depends on weather conditions, every course will be arranged individually.

Course Objectives

• basic knowledge and secure domination of the paraglider
• flights at the training slope
• aptitude for high-altitude flights

As confirmation of the course you'll get a flight logbook or, if desired, a German training certificate (5 € surcharge). With this confirmation you can continue the tuition optionally with us or in another Austrian or German flight school. The next training step in our school is the Elementary Course II.

If we don't achieve the course objective within the proposed time due to weather conditions, the course can be extended or completed at another date free of charge.
